AFZAL-UL-ULAMA Preliminary
Eligibility : Applicants who have passed the examination in schemes like SSLC, THSLC, CBSE and ICSE and who have passed SSLC equivalent examination from other states and countries can apply. Applicants must have obtained atleast D+ grade or equivalent marks for each paper and eligible for higher studies. The marks of those who appeared for the examination under the SSLC old scheme and those who appeared for the examination other than grading system will be converted into grading system before considering for admission. Applicants who have studied other than Kerala syllabus should have obtained the minimum marks prescribed by the board of examination concerned. Applicants must have 15 years of age by June 1, 2021 but should not exceed 20 years of age. There is no minimum age limit for the candidates who pass the SSLC and THSLC examinations from the Examination Board of Kerala. Applicants who pass the examinations of other boards will be given relaxation upto six months on the lower and upper age limit. Applicants who have passed SSLC from the board of Public Examination for Kerala will be given exemption of upto six months on the upper age limit. Applicants belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes will be given relaxation upto two years on upper age limit. Those who are blind, deaf and intellectually challenged can apply up to the age of 25.
B Voc Accounting And Taxation
Eligibility : Candidates who have passed (Eligible for Higher Studies) the HSE of the Kerala State Board of Higher Secondary Examination or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto with at least one commerce subject are eligible for admissions to the B.Com degree course. Candidates who have not studied commerce subject for Higher Secondaryor an equivalent examination not less than 45% marks are also eligible. A concession of 5% will be given to OBC/OEC candidates. Index Mark : Total marks + 25 marks for each commerce papers subject to maximum of 50 marks. COMMERCE PAPERS Accountancy/ Accountancy and Auditing/ Accountancy with AFS/ Accountancy with Computer Accounting/ Accountancy (Analysis of Financial Statements)/ Accountancy (computerized accounting)/ Accounts/ Banking Assistance/ Banking with Secretarial Practice/ Book Keeping and Accountancy/ Book-Keeping & Basic Mathematics/ Book-Kpng & Accountancy/ Business Studies/ Business Studies with Functional Management/ Business Mathematics/ Catering and Restaurant Management/ Commerce/ Commercial Correspondence and Commercial Geography/ Commercial Geography & Commercial Correspondence/ General insurance/ Management/ Marketing/ Marketing and Salesmanship/ Office Secretaryship/ Reception,Book Keeping and Communication. An additional 25 marks will be awarded for VHS passout students if they have studied the Vocational course - Accountancy and Auditing/Banking Assistance/General insurance/Marketing and Sales

All the Bachelor Degree (10+2+3 or more years pattern including Professional degrees) holders (recognised by this University) other than B.A. Music / BPA Vocal degree / any other Music degree holders are eligible for Admission based on an Aptitude test. The Aptitude Test is mandatory for all the candidates of other Degree Programmes. The minimum requisite for appearing for Aptitude Test shall be the ability to render an ‘‘ATA TALA VARNA’’ in 2 degrees of speed and the candidate should also answer any practical oriented questions from the B.A. Music Syllabus . The candidate should score at least 40% in the Aptitude Test. Msc General Biotechnology
Eligibility :
Single/Double/Triple Main (Core/Main) Degree (10+2+3) in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Genetics, Plant Sciences, B.Voc Applied Biotechnology of this University or any other equivalent degree, with at least 55% aggregate marks or equivalent overall CGPA (50% for OBC/OEC candidates and 40% for SC/ST candidates), OR at least 55% aggregate marks or equivalent overall CGPA (50% for OBC/OEC candidates and 40% for SC/ST candidates) in B.Sc Life Science/ B.Sc Medical Laboratory Technology/ B.Sc. Agriculture/ Horticulture / B.V.Sc/ B.Pharm/ B.Sc Bio-Informatics/ B.Sc Agricultural Biotechnology degree recognised by this University.
MSc Geography
Eligibility :
B.Sc Geography degree of this university or an equivalent degree, with Geography (Main/Core), with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in Core (Part III excluding subsidiaries). OBC/OEC candidates are eligible to relaxation up to 5%. SC/ST candidates need only to get a pass.
MSc Home Science - Nutrition And Dietetics
Eligibility :
B.Sc. Degree with Home Science/Family & Community Science/ Dietetics /Clinical Nutrition/Nutrition and Dietetics/Food Science with Quality Control/Food Science and Nutrition/ Food Service management and Dietetics or other Nutrition related degree programmes, and BVoc Nutrition Science and Dietetics of this University or an equivalent degree, with at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent overall CGPA. OBC/OEC candidates are eligible to relaxation up to 5%. SC/ST candidates need only to get a pass.
MSc Mathematics
Eligibility :
B.Sc. Degree in Mathematics of this University or an equivalent degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in Main (Core) and at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in Part III (Core and Complementary put together). In the case of those students having a B.Sc degree or B.Sc Honours degree (without complementary/subsidiary papers) equivalent to the B.Sc. Mathematics Degree of the Calicut University, they only need to secure at least 50% marks in the main (core) and electives put together (if there is/are any elective paper/papers). OBC/OEC candidates are eligible for a relaxation of up to 5%. SC/ST candidates need only to get a pass.
MSc Mathematics With Data Science
Eligibility :
B.Sc. Degree in Mathematics or B.Sc. Degree in Statistics with Mathematics as one of the subsidiaries/complementaries or B.Sc. degree in Computer Science with Mathematics and Statistics as subsidiaries/complementaries, of this University or any degree equivalent to the above programmes, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in Core (Main) and at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in Part III (Core and Complementary put together). In the case of those students having a B.Sc. degree or a B.Sc. Honours degree, without the complementary papers, equivalent to the B.Sc. Mathematics degree programme of the University of Calicut, they need only to secure at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in the core (main) and electives put together (if there is/are any elective paper/papers). B.Sc Microbiology degree of this university or an equivalent degree from other universities/institutes (with Microbiology Core/Main), with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent overall CGPA OR B.Voc Applied Microbiology and Forensic Science degree of this university or an equivalent degree from other universities/institutes (with more than 40 credits for microbiology component), with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent overall CGPA. MSc Physics
Eligibility :
B.Sc. Degree in Physics/Applied Physics (Core/Main), of this University or an equivalent degree, with Mathematics as compulsory complementary, having at least 50% mark or equivalent CGPA in Part III (Core and Complementary put together) or an equivalent B.Sc Physics Honours degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in Physics core and electives (Mathematics compulsory) put together. In the case of applicants having an equivalent degree with triple main/three majors, they should have Physics and Mathematics as two mains/majors and should have minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA, while putting the three mains/majors together. OBC/OEC candidates are eligible for relaxation up to 5%. SC/ST candidates need only to get a pass.
MSc Polymer Chemistry
Eligibility :
B.Sc. Degree with Polymer Chemistry/ Chemistry/ Industrial Chemistry/ Chemistry alternative pattern (Core/Main), with Mathematics as one of the subsidiaries, of this University or an equivalent degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in Part III (Core & Complementary put together). MSc Psychology

A pass in BA/ BA (Honours)/ B.Sc degree with Psychology core (main) from University of Calicut or a recognised degree with Psychology core (main), in regular mode.
