Eligibility : Applicants who have passed the examination in schemes like SSLC, THSLC, CBSE and ICSE and who have passed SSLC equivalent examination from other states and countries can apply. Applicants must have obtained atleast D+ grade or equivalent marks for each paper and eligible for higher studies. The marks of those who appeared for the examination under the SSLC old scheme and those who appeared for the examination other than grading system will be converted into grading system before considering for admission. Selection Criteria - Admission to the MA Programme in Multimedia shall be made on the basis of a merit list, which takes into consideration the marks obtained by the student in the qualifying examination and the aptitude test conducted by the college.

Note - List of the applied candidates will be forwarded to the colleges/centres concerned and the rank list will be prepared by the colleges/centres.

Eligibility : B.A. Music Degree of this University/ BPA Vocal degree, or any other recognised degree, with at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent overall CGPA. OBC/OEC candidates are eligible for relaxation upto 5%. SC/ST candidates need only to get a pass.
All the Bachelor Degree (10+2+3 or more years pattern including Professional degrees) holders (recognised by this University) other than B.A. Music / BPA Vocal degree / any other Music degree holders are eligible for Admission based on an Aptitude test. The Aptitude Test is mandatory for all the candidates of other Degree Programmes. The minimum requisite for appearing for Aptitude Test shall be the ability to render an ‘‘ATA TALA VARNA’’ in 2 degrees of speed and the candidate should also answer any practical oriented questions from the B.A. Music Syllabus . The candidate should score at least 40% in the Aptitude Test. In the absence of eligible candidates from the categories, the seats shall be allotted to B.A. Music / BPA Vocal / any other Music degree holders.

Note:- Admission of B.A. Music / BPA Vocal degree / any other Music degree holders will be from the rank list prepared based on the index marks. List of the Bachelor Degree holders other than B.A. Music / BPA Vocal / any other Music degree will be forwarded to the colleges concerned and the admission of such candidates will be from the rank list prepared by the colleges after conducting the mandatory aptitude test.

Eligibility : Those students who possess B.Sc Geology degree of University of Calicut or a B.Sc Degree with Geology Main/Core recognized by this University, with any two of the complementary courses Physics /Chemistry /Mathematics /Statistics /Remote Sensing & GIS, with minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in Part III (Core and Complementary put together) are eligible for admission to this programme. OBC/OEC candidates are eligible for relaxation up to 5%. SC/ST candidates need only to get a pass.

Eligibility : B.Sc Degree with Zoology/ Aquaculture/ Microbiology/ Fishery Science/ Industrial Fisheries (Main/Core), of this University or an equivalent degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in Core (Part III excluding subsidiaries). OBC/OEC candidates are eligible for relaxation up to 5%. SC/ST candidates need only to get a pass.

Eligibility : B.Sc Biochemistry degree of this University or an equivalent/recognised degree from other Universities/Institutes (with Biochemistry as Core/Main; with more than 40 credits for Biochemistry component), with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent overall CGPA. OBC/OEC candidates are eligible to relaxation up to 5%. SC/ST candidates need only to get a pass.

Eligibility : B.Sc degree of this university or an equivalent degree, with any one of the Biology main subjects (B.Sc Zoology, B.Sc Botany, B.Sc. Biotechnology, B.Sc. Microbiology, B.Sc Marine Biology, B.Sc Fisheries science) and having chemistry/biochemistry as one of the subsidiaries/complementaries, with minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in Core (Part III excluding subsidiaries). OBC/OEC candidates are eligible to relaxation up to 5%. SC/ST candidates need to get only a pass.

Eligibility : Bachelor degree in Botany or Plant Science, of University of Calicut or an equivalent degree, with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in the Core (Main) subject. OBC/OEC candidates are eligible for relaxation up to 5%. SC/ST candidates need only to get a pass.

Eligibility : B.Sc. Degree with Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry/Polymer Chemistry (Core/Main), with Mathematics as one of its subsidiaries/complementaries, of this University or an equivalent degree, with at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent Overall CGPA. OBC/OEC candidates are eligible to relaxation up to 5%. SC/ST candidates need only to get a pass.

Eligibility : Candidates who had passed BA/B.Sc Psychology of University of Calicut or equivalent with Psychology as the main subject of Part III.

Eligibility : The candidate should have secured at least 55% aggregate marks or equivalent overall CGPA in BSc. (Computer Science or Information Technology or Electronics or Physics or Mathematics or Statistics or Chemistry) or BCA/ B.Voc in Software Technology/ B.Voc in Software Development/ BVoc Data Science, BVoc Mathematics and AI/ BVoc IT, of this University or an equivalent degree, OR at least 55% aggregate marks or equivalent overall CGPA in B.Tech/BE (Computer Science or Information Technology or Electronics or Electronics and Telecommunication or Electronics and Communication) recognized by this University. Eligibility : B.Sc Degree in Electronics / Physics / Computer Science / Instrumentation of this University or an equivalent degree, having studied Electronics as one of the subject and Mathematics as compulsory complementary course, having at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in Part III (Core and Complementary put together). OBC/OEC candidates are eligible to relaxation up to 5%. SC/ST candidates need only to get a pass.

Eligibility : Any degree (10+2+3 or more years pattern including Professional degrees) of University of Calicut or any degree (10+2+3 or more years pattern including Professional degrees) recognized by University of Calicut, with at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent overall CGPA. Eligibility : B.Sc Food Technology/ B.Voc Food Technology/ B.Voc Food Science/ B.Voc Food Processing/ B.Voc Food Processing Technology/ B.Voc Food Processing & Safety Management/ B.Voc Food Processing & Quality Management, of this University or an equivalent degree, with least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent overall CGPA. OBC/OEC candidates are eligible to relaxation up to 5%. SC/ST candidates need only to get a pass.

Note : 80% seats will be reserved for B.Sc Food Technology degree holders. 20% seats will be reserved for B.Voc holders. B.Voc students will be selected based on their overall percentage gained in the qualifying examination. Weightages (if any) shall apply, as per the existing University norms.

Eligibility : Single/Double/Triple Main (Core/Main) Degree (10+2+3) in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Genetics, Plant Sciences, B.Voc Applied Biotechnology of this University or any other equivalent degree, with at least 55% aggregate marks or equivalent overall CGPA (50% for OBC/OEC candidates and 40% for SC/ST candidates), OR at least 55% aggregate marks or equivalent overall CGPA (50% for OBC/OEC candidates and 40% for SC/ST candidates) in B.Sc Life Science/ B.Sc Medical Laboratory Technology/ B.Sc. Agriculture/ Horticulture / B.V.Sc/ B.Pharm/ B.Sc Bio-Informatics/ B.Sc Agricultural Biotechnology degree recognised by this University.

Degree with Home Science/Family & Community Science/ Dietetics /Clinical Nutrition/Nutrition and Dietetics/Food Science with Quality Control/Food Science and Nutrition/ Food Service management and Dietetics or other Nutrition related degree programmes, and BVoc Nutrition Science and Dietetics of this University or an equivalent degree, with at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent overall CGPA. OBC/OEC candidates are eligible to relaxation up to 5%. SC/ST candidates need only to get a pass.

Eligibility : B.Sc. Degree in Mathematics of this University or an equivalent degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in Main (Core) and at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in Part III (Core and Complementary put together). In the case of those students having a B.Sc degree or B.Sc Honours degree (without complementary/subsidiary papers) equivalent to the B.Sc. Mathematics Degree of the Calicut University, they only need to secure at least 50% marks in the main (core) and electives put together (if there is/are any elective paper/papers). OBC/OEC candidates are eligible for a relaxation of up to 5%. SC/ST candidates need only to get a pass.

Eligibility : B.Sc. Degree in Mathematics or B.Sc. Degree in Statistics with Mathematics as one of the subsidiaries/complementaries or B.Sc. degree in Computer Science with Mathematics and Statistics as subsidiaries/complementaries, of this University or any degree equivalent to the above programmes, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in Core (Main) and at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in Part III (Core and Complementary put together). In the case of those students having a B.Sc. degree or a B.Sc. Honours degree, without the complementary papers, equivalent to the B.Sc. In the case of applicants having an equivalent degree with triple main/three majors, they should have Physics and Mathematics as two mains/majors and should have minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA, while putting the three mains/majors together. Eligibility : A pass in BA/ BA (Honours)/ B.Sc degree with Psychology core (main) from University of Calicut or a recognised degree with Psychology core (main), in regular mode.
